Personal injury Is this a low offer? I am lost!?
I was hit from behind & got whip lash with soft tissue damage. I had a cat scan I had PT for 5 months. I could not sleep for over 3 months. After 5 months I was released by PT. Medical bills are $4500.00 After 10 months the insurance co. sent me a offer of settlement. We are willing to offer you $6550.00. This amount is inclusive of all incurred medical bills and expenses. They are offering me $2050. Is it a fair offer?

I was not at fault. I was stopped in traffic behind other cars that were stopped. I saw the car coming about 500 YD behind me she panicked and hit her gas All I could do was push on the breaks fearing hitting the cars in front of me.I had no were to go. I spent over 3 months in pain could not sleep because of the pain. The bills have gone to collection because I am not working. I tried in every way to prevent them from going to collection. This is in Idaho. It has been 9 months from time of accident & I have provided everything the insurance co. asked for. I do not have a lawyer... Nor do I want one but need to know what to do now.
