I had deposition for a wreck that happen in 2007, a semi hit me from behind. Okay my questions are first the defense attorney asked to move the depositions up, so my attorney had to cancel a previous schedule depo on another case to schedule mine. Is this normal?
Next question...The company rep for the semi stated they did not deny any of the statements made by me or the semi driver who states I put on brakes they didn't have time to stop so they hit me then I hit the person in front of me.. So if they don't deny any of this an there are no wittness to the accident, what would be the most likely next step? My lawyer tells me she will see what the defense attorney is wanting to do but she is willing to pay 1500.00 for the neuorsurgen to be depositioned to state my injuries. If they don't tell her something soon, she is pushing for trial next month or may.
Are these stragaties they use, or is this pretty much the way a lawsuit plays out?
