Ravinder Singh from Khalsa Aid interviewing Shinda Singh, once proud and devout Sikh who was forced due to personal medical and financial reasons to convert into Christianity seven years ago. Although an active member in his community who could always be relied on for support, when he fell on hard times no Gurduwara Committee, organisation etc came to his aid. As now prevalent across Punjab Christian missionaries saw the lack of support from Shinda Singhs Sikh community as an opportunity for conversion, offering him medical and food provisions to become a Christian. Please Support Khalsa Aid which has launched a huge project earlier this year in Punjab to tackle issues of poverty, drugs and literacy; sponsoring the education of Sikh children and supporting their family (food and medical), giving the Punjabi people an alternative than to give up their faith.
