My wife and I had a weekend get away.
We descided to stay in a higher priced motel due to the fact they had an indoor pool and hot tub.
A little history about my wife.
She had a bad allergy to FIRE ANTS. One fire ant will send her into anti-falactic shock ( please excuse the spelling )
Anyway we descided to stay in this particular motle due to the fact they have an indoor pool and hot tub. We thought this would be safe for her because of her ant allergys.
Well we get to the hot tub and things are nice and we are relaxing and having fun. I just happen to look at one side of the hot and saw FIRE ANTS were on the cement and crawling clopse to the opint that they could fall into the water.
At that point I yold her what I saw and suggested that we get her out of the hot tub. She gets out walks about 15 feet and sits down in a chair. She said " I dont feel right ". At that point I walk over to her and she passes out.
I know that the passing out could have been a result of getting out of the hot tub. I noticed that she was having problems breathing. Then I had someone call 911.
While waiting on the EMS the next 10 or so minuites were HELL.
Her lips were starting to turn blue and I could hear her struggeling to breath. When the EMS did arrive, they asked what happened. I told them of her ant allergy and I thought she had been bit.
So they do vitals on her and told me later that her blood pressure was at dangerious low levels and that she was not moving mush air.
Her oxygen stats were down in the high 30's.

Anyway they treated her for anti-falatic shock with an eppie shot.
Long styory short she is spending the night in the hospital, so
Do we have a case for persional injury?
Is the hotel liable?
She is recovering fine but that's not the point......
Do we have a case?
What do I need to do?
Thanks.......
